I have been wondering for a while what to do with an old iPhone that I had laying around in my drawer.
I saw a post on Reddit where someone did something similar to this to showcase another old iPhone – so I thought it’d be a cool project.
I’m planning on keeping it on my desk at work along with all the other nerdy things I already have there (3D printed widgets and such). I’m sure it will end up being quite the conversation piece! 
The idea is pretty simple.
1) Disassemble an old phone
2) Mount the cool looking pieces in a shadow box
3) Enjoy!
I purchased the shadow box from Hobby Lobby, but you can find them pretty much anywhere including Amazon. I’ll link to one that seems similar to the one that I used below.
