Today we’re unboxing and taking a first look at the ESKUTE electric bike for adults. This is a full-size fat-tire e-bike with 26-by-4 all-terrain tires, front and rear suspension, and an 1800-watt peak motor — claimed top speed around 32 miles per hour. The battery is a removable 48-volt, 20.8-amp-hour pack mounted low on the frame, with up to 86 miles of range in PAS 1.
It’s a step-over frame with adjustable handlebars and saddle, a central display, and NFC plus app unlock so you can tap a card or your phone to start the ride. It arrives about 90 percent assembled. We’ll finish the setup, go over the controls, then take it outside and see how it actually rides.
